Founded in December 2005, VirtenSys has developed industry leading PCI Express based I/O virtualization technologies for servers and storage platforms.
The Challenge
To determine which of the company’s many innovations should be captured and protected to provide a solid IP base going forward.
Then to accelerate the patenting process by providing support to the engineering team to ensure more IP can be protected more rapidly as well as ensuring filings are robust, comprehensive and in the right geographies.
The Outcome
A ranked list of Inventions to move forward into the Innovation Capture and Protection process. Successful outsourcing of Invention Disclosure write-up, Prior Art Searching and Patent Attorney Liaison, leading to several core patents filed in 2008.
