Jon Calvert – Managing Director
Jon's extensive experience in technology business leadership is applied to help our clients ensure their IP strategy is aligned with their business strategy for maximum value and protection.
As well as putting in place developmental and growth strategies for ClearViewIP, Jon is responsible for leading the Consulting team and ensuring the right skills are onboard and deployed appropriately for each Client engagement. As every situation is unique, it is essential that the business provides flexibility and can deliver bespoke services which maximise the value to our clients.
Before joining ClearViewIP, Jon held a number of International R&D and business leadership positions in Data Storage and Networking industries. As VP of Engineering for Xyratex's Network Storage Systems Division, he was responsible for all aspects of development for their Expansion Storage product line, delivering and supporting products for more than 50 of the world’s leading computer storage providers and delivering revenues of over $500M.
Jon has championed new business investment strategies at Board level, critically evaluated business performance and represented business externally through Private Equity road show participation and IPO preparation, with highly successful outcomes.
He has a B.Eng and Masters in Business Process Re-Engineering from Brunel University and is an active member of the Licensing Executives Society.
