Jacob works with clients to provide a wide range of ClearViewIP services from patent portfolio analysis to IP strategy development, innovation capture to novelty assessments, and market research to marketing. He uses his software skills to build financial models and develop in-house patent analysis tools.
His IP experience includes working with companies and academic institutions across a range of technology areas such as medical devices, consumer electronics, and automotive.
Prior to joining ClearViewIP, Jacob worked for various science-related institutions including Rutherford Appleton Laboratory and the Met Office. He graduated with a Master of Physics degree from the University of Southampton with First-Class Honours. He co-authored a paper on the interference of particle decays which was published in the Journal of High Energy Physics.
